Basic Needs & Relief Services Division:



Basic Needs & Relief Services Division of the Initiative is saddled with the responsibility of providing for the basic needs of poor and destitute persons. Such basic needs include food, clothing, shelter, healthcare and education for orphans, widows, beggars, displaced persons, refugees and other destitute persons.

 

Livelihood Development & Economic Empowerment Division:

Livelihood Development & Economic Empowerment Division of the Initiative is saddled with the responsibility of providing livelihood, empowerment, support and sustainability to poor and destitute persons. This includes waging war against rural poverty through agricultural development, agro-allied industrialization of rural areas, free skill aquisition programmes, provision of micro credit facilities with neither collateral nor interest attached to petty traders, peasant farmers and poor artisans.
 

Rural Habitation & Ghetto Transformation Division:

Rural Habitation & Ghetto Transformation Division of the Initiative is saddled with the responsibility of carrying out community development services to ghettos and rural areas. This includes provision, renovation and maintenance of basic social amenities such as water, healthcare, road, school and electricity in rural and ghetto commuinites.
 

Vulnerable Persons Rights & Access to Justice Division:

Vulnerable Persons Rights & Access to Justice Division of the Initiative is saddled with the responsibility of providing legal aid, support, defence and protection to poor and destitute persons such as destitute children, destitute women, domestic servants, widows, orphans, beggars, physically challenged persons and menial labourers. This Division is also saddled with the responsibility of providing support to various Criminal justice institutions whose activities have direct bearing on the rights, safety and welfare of the poor and destitute persons. Such criminal justice institutions include the Prisons, the Police and the Court.

Poverty-Induced Crimes & Social Vices Control Division:

Poverty-Induced Crimes & Social Vices Control Division of the Initiative is saddled with the responsibility of informing, reforming and rehabilitating persons who as a result of excruciating poverty, indulge in crimes and/or Social vices as ways of liberating themselves from the shackles of poverty. Such persons are found among prisoners, commercial sex workers, hooligans, drug addicts, street boys and other related social miscreants.
